and
( CH Blackbriar Balvenie X CH Blackbriar
Two for the Show) By
breeding CH Blackbriar Balvenie to Blackbriar Two for the Show
I am hoping to firmly lock in Imis of Willowall's
predisposition to produce exceptional angles both fore and aft, and,
therefore, excellent reach and drive. I have been profoundly
disappointed in the average PRT's movement and feel that unless the this
issue is addressed by more breeders, this breed will be another breed that
can no longer live up to his heritage. Balvenie is a very bonded dog who
looks to me for reassurance and has no "show gene". Two for the Show, by
contrast, is independent and outgoing. They can only compliment each
other.
and
(CH Blackbriar 'Da Nef-U X
CH Blackbriar Samiel) CH Blackbriar 'Da Nef-U will add substance,
lower hocks, and his excellent front end to CH Blackbriar Samiel's
elegance and flexibility. Samiel is the consummate athlete, able to tie
herself is knots, squeeze into places one would swear she can't fit, and
leap a four foot fence like a world class hunter. She will, hopefully,
temper Danny's energy and drive thereby producing excellent show dogs and
pets. The pups may, however, be a bit "busier" than the other pups I have
planned. Those who know both dogs are especially enthusiastic about this
litter.
and
(CH Blackbriar 'Da Nef-U X CH
Blackbriar Replica) CH Blackbriar 'Da Nef-U has an exceptional
front end as well as the other prerequisites of low hocks, excellent coat,
a true terrier expression and attitude. By breeding him to CH
Blackbriar Replica who has one of the best laybacks in the breed, a
wonderful long arched neck that allows her to reach well in excess of most
other dogs, I hope to produce a litter that truly has it all. And by all,
I mean exceptional temperaments as well.
and
(CH Blackbriar One for the
Money X CH Blackbriar Talisker) CH Blackbriar One for the Money
is a truly laid back terrier. Nothing rattles him, nothing scares him,
other dogs don't upset him. I have used him to settle a pup who is
intimidated by the show environment. He apparently exudes an air of
confidence that is imparted to the youngster, who then settles is short
order. CH Blackbriar Talisker, on the other hand, is a high energy
ball of fire. The combination I hope to produce will have the fire,
confidence, a the "look at ME" attitude that is necessary for a winning
show dog. By the same token, the temperament of these two is bound
to produce exceptional pets as well.
