CH Blackbriar Macallan (Imis of Willowall x Parkins RoseBay Willow) "Maci"
finished her championship in record time. One of the
13 Blackbriar kids finished in the first 13 months in
AKC. Her exquisite head turned many a judge's eye
along with her style and overall type.
CH Blackbriar Replica
( Imis of Willowall x Parkins RoseBay Willow) "Sally" was a road mate
with CH Blackbriar Watch Me (PJ) and also shown and finished by
Jane and Greg Myers. One of her more memorable wins was an Award of
Merit at the 2001 Westminster. She is enjoying being retired from the
ring and raising a litter or two. Her almost perfect structure bodes
well for her future children.
CH Blackbriar Samiel (Foxgrove Bentley x Blackbriar
Shasta) "Sam" was one of the first JRT's to earn her championship on
4/23/00. Retired from the show ring, she went on to produce with Imis
two of the most important individuals in my current breeding program,
CH Blackbriar Two for the Show, a multiple group placing bitch and
CH Blackbriar One for the Money, the sire of CH Blackbriar
Hells a Poppin' who is currently being Specialed. Aside from her
formidable pedigree combining the best of the UK and the States, she is
a joy to live with, easy going, affectionate and quiet. She is always
ready to do as asked, which, in itself, is a plus!
CH Blackbriar Two for the Show (Imis of Willowall x CH Blackbriar
Samiel) "Cassie" combines both elegance with correct structure and
flowing movement. Her first breeding to CH Blackbriar 'Da Nef-U
produced a multiple Best in Match pup in AKC and a BIS pup in UKC. She
shows remarkable potential for competing in Agility, I, however, do
not! Therefore, I am afraid her potential in that area will remain
unexplored. Cassie is retired to be a Mom.
CH Blackbriar Talisker
(Imis of Willowall x Parkins RoseBay
Willow) "Tally" is the
product of one of my most successful crosses, Imis of Willowall to
Parkins RoseBay Willow. She has, and passes down, the ultimate "show
gene" A full sister to CH Blackbriar Replica and a littermate to
CH Blackbriar Balvenie and CH Blackbriar Macallan, Tally's
first AKC litter had a BOB puppy who finished at 7 months beating a
Nationally ranked Special. Tally has the "show dog gene" to the max!
And better yet...she passes it on! In her first Group experience, a
stack of metal chairs fell over, all the dogs except Tally dropped
their tails and tried to leave the area. Tally, on the other hand,
whipped around, stood on her tippy toes and barked at the collapsed
stack.
CH Blackbriar Taka Chance
(Blackbriar Balvenie x Treehouse
Daisy) "Chance" is a littermate of CH Blackbriar Watch Me and
the dam of CH Blackbriar 'Da Nef-U. She has proved herself as
both a show dog and a brood bitch, and will soon be starting her
Obedience career. As a pup she always had an overwhelming desire to
please. This has made her a wonderful companion as well as a
performance and conformation dog. She is also one of the best "snugglers"
I have - which to me is of great importance! CH Blackbriar Teasel
(CH Sage of Wyndcroft x Treehouse
Daisy) "Teasel" was a JRTAA champion long before AKC was even thought
a possibility, she went on to earn her AKC championship at the age of
10. Currently at 14 she still has the will to outdo the Energizer
Bunny!
CH Blackbriar Oh My! (Blackbriar Nevada x Bannockburn
Glaine Boogie) "Bella" was breeder/owner handled to her championship
while being a devoted pet. Her role of choice in the Seison household
is "Auntie Bella". She has been a major contributor to the raising of
Effie's litter, never losing patience but requiring the pups
"behave"...well as much as PRT pups can!
CH Blackbriar Hells A Poppin'
(Blackbriar One for the Money x Blackbriar Penumbra) "Phoebe" is our
current Special. Sired by CH Blackbriar One for the Money and
out of CH Blackbriar Penumbra, she demonstrates both excellent
type and exceptional movement. In her first 11 groups she placed 9
times. An outstanding start of a Specials career. Phoebe is a little
ray of sunshine, never disgruntled, always happy, and especially ready
to give sloppy PRT kisses. When the time comes for her to retire from
the ring I am sure she will continue to give as much pleasure to the
Seison family as she has to her handlers, Jane and Greg Meyers.
